A new wine, and it's an absolute belter. Made by an
Aussie/Italian winemaker, with input from his Argentinian wife. A
rich, velvety blend of Malbec, Shiraz and Durif, aged for 4 months

blueberry, blackberry and ripe cherry. It has supple tannins and a
long lingering finish. The perfect choice for hearty stews and
casseroles.
***NEW WINE***
Roc Saint Constant 2018
Minervois, France 13.5% abv
£11.49
Minervois is one of France's best kept secrets, often overlooked
and forgotten by many wine buyers and drinkers. This wine comes
from a tiny commune (600 inhabitants) called La Livinière in the
southeast of France, about 20 miles from Carcasonne. The
vineyard is small, comprising old vine Carignan, Grenache and
Syrah, the oldest vines being planted in 1934. The wine is
mouthfilling, rich and smooth with bramble and spice character.
Serve on its own or with grilled red meats, a casserole or steak
pie.
Lobo e Falcão Branco 2017
Vinho Regional Tejo, Portugal, 12%
abv
£9.99
Located approximately sixty miles from Lisbon, Quinta do Casal
Branco have been making wine since 1775. Their Lobo e Falcão wine
is a blend of native grapes Fernão Pires, Alvarinho and Muscat,
which thrive in the property's sandy soils and ripen to perfection
under the Portuguese sun. It's a rich, full bodied wine with light
aromatic touch of spicy vanilla and tropical spice. Opulent
and aromatic, this is a top pick solo or with chicken or a creamy
vegetable risotto. mmm
