Hoppy - Bright - Crisp
Brewed with freshly picked hops
from local growers and wild hedgerows, this beer pours a rich
copper with a soapy white head. Expect a bright, green, herbaceous
character layered with floral aromas and a zesty citrus lift, all
balanced by a smooth, malty backbone.
About the
Beer
Green hopped beers use freshly picked hops which add a
completely different flavour profile to standard hops, which have
been dried for year long use. So just like cooking with fresh herbs
instead of dried herbs, expect a brighter, greener
flavour.
Not only are we using fresh hops supplied by our longest
standing supplier and good friends at Charles Faram Hops, but also
hops from the local area, be that growing here at the brewery, from
local gardeners and allotment holders, and wild hops from the
hedgerow. This makes it an exciting beer, as we don't know what
each hop will contribute until we drink it!
Ingredients (allergens
in bold): Water, Barley, hops, yeast.
Shelf life and
storage: Best enjoyed fresh. 1L bottles: 7 days
unopened. Kegs: consume within 7 days of opening. Keep chilled
(10-12°C).
