A soft and hazy wheat beer
bursting with banana and clove yeast character, layered with bright
tropical fruit and citrus from modern American hops. Creamy and
smooth, with low bitterness and a plush finish.
About the
Beer:
The Hopfenweisse (literally
"hoppy wheat") is a modern twist on Germany's classic Hefeweizen.
Traditionally, Hefeweizens are known for their cloudy appearance,
full body, and signature yeast-driven flavours of banana and clove.
The Hopfenweisse takes that familiar base and infuses it with New
World hops, usually American or Southern Hemisphere varieties,
adding juicy notes of mango, citrus and passionfruit. The result is
a lively fusion of old world brewing heritage and modern
hop-forward flair, offering the aromatic intensity of an IPA with
the soft, pillowy texture and refreshing drinkability of a wheat
beer.
