Then our big monthly wine tasting is perfect for you... On the
first Saturday of the month we select 8 to 10 wines from our range
for you to discover.
It's a casual tasting, no pressure and not guided so you can try
whilst browsing the shop. If you needed to know more, our
knowledgeable wine staff will be on hand to offer advice.
Samples will be available from 10am to 5pm each Saturday.
Wine of the Month- Grande Reserve de Gassac 2016

Herault, France 13.5% abv
This Cabernet Sauvignon is a serious show stopper from the south
of France. The vineyard is located in arguably the area's most
famous estate and thanks to years of shifting glaciers the terrain
provides well drained soil. This wine is rich in plum and
blackberry flavours making it a perfect accompaniment to garlicky
Les Champ des Etoiles 2017
Pays d'Oc IGP, France 13.5%
This isn't your usual Pinot Noir. The vineyards are located high
in the hills in the south meaning warm days are followed by cool
nights, slowly ripening the grapes over time. This gives the wine a
silky, raspberry and earthy taste. It's an absolute cracker on its
own or with mushroom risottos.
Penley Estate Casablanca 2016
Coonawarra, Australia 14.5%
Wow. PUNCHY, SMOOTH AND VELVETY! This is a celebration of
Australia's finest wine making area. The combination of limestone
and clay soil makes for an intense concentration of Cabernet and
Merlot. Its brilliant with red meats which will bring out the long

This award-winning Cabernet Franc is from the South of France
where the glaciers once paved their way. The wine has been aged for
10 months in French oaked barrels giving the wine a silky,
liquorice and spicy flavour. Best served with white meats and

Reinventing the French grape Durif with a blend of Shiraz has
proof that anything is possible. The wine is rich and smooth owing
to the Durif and turbo charged by the ripe black fruit of the
Shiraz. Serve it in a large glass, alongside a steak or Sunday
Round the Blend 2015
California, USA 13.5% abv
A beautiful blend of Durif, Merlot and Shiraz, Zinfandel and
Temprinillo this wine is bursting with flavour. A hint of smoky
coffee comes from the Shiraz whilst the Zinfandel offers a juicy
smoothmess not forgetting the cherry flavours from the Mourvedre.
This will pair excellently with roast vegetables.
