Looking for something new? Want to expand your wine knowledge?
Then our big monthly wine tasting is perfect for you... On the
first Saturday of the month we select 8 to 10 wines from our range
for you to discover.
It's a casual tasting, no pressure and not guided so you can try
whilst browsing the shop. If you needed to know more, our
knowledgeable wine staff will be on hand to offer advice.
Samples will be available from 10am to 5pm each Saturday.
Langhorne Creek, Australia 14.5%
Usually Shiraz comes from the Barossa Valley, however this is
from Langhorne Creek next to the Bremer and Angus River, giving the
grapes a much-needed breeze. The result is a delicious blackberry
and plum flavour with a dash of spice to finish.
Goulburn Valley, Australia 13%
Crisp stony freshness balanced by luscious, ripe peach and
apricot, this is a new release from 'Big Mac' McPherson. This
medium-bodied white has an incredibly smooth minerally finish.
Dryland Granite Shiraz 2014
Stellenbosch, South Africa 14%
Using special yeast imported from the Rhone Valley for
fermentation and aged in an oak barrel for a year to gain enough
smoothness and complexity this dense red is a cracker with a roast
lamb. You can expect to taste blackberry and raspberry with smooth
Reservado Cabernet Franc 2015
Mendoza, Argentina 14%
This Superb red uses handpicked Cabernet Franc from Lujan de
Cuyo. It's been aged for a year in a French oak barrel and will
make fine drinking for the next few years. This wine delivers a
ripe raspberry freshness with a long finish.
