Farnese Trebbiano 2016
Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, Italy 12% abv
A light and refreshing dry white with aromas of Fresh lemon,
melon and almond. Nicely balanced, it's fresh and zippy with ripe
citrus and melon fruit flavours.
This Trebbiano displays all this grape's zesty lemon freshness -
enjoy as an apéritif or with seafood or salads.
Andresen Late Bottled Vintage Port
Porto, Portugal 20%
Indulge yourself with a rich and luscious port from one of the
last remaining family-run houses. Its LBV is renowned for levels of
concentration and richness that can rival even the most expensive
vintage ports. Unfiltered to retain every element of flavour and
colour from the wine, this spectacular LBV needs the same treatment
as a top vintage port - so be sure to decant an hour before
drinking to allow its aromas to open out. Then sit back and indulge
in the ultimate after dinner tipple!
Aluado Alicante Bouschet 2017
Lisbon, Portugal 13.5% abv
Velvet black fruit Alicante plays a minor role in many of
Portugal's reds but winemaker José Neiva Correia decided to give it
centre stage. Madness, some thought, but five Golds, a Best Buy and
90 points from Wine Enthusiast over two vintages prove him right.
Ripe damson and blackberry flavours with a hint of coffee and
cinnamon, it's a rich, velvety red, great solo or served with roast
meats (try lamb or pork) or a herby casserole.
Aluado Chardonnay 2016
Estremadura, Portugal 12.5% abv
If you enjoy a white with a real zip of freshness accompanied by
appealing ripe fruit, this ocean cooled Chardonnay from Portugal
will perfectly fit the bill. With Ripe orchard fruits - peach and
apricot - with creamy lemon hints, it's just what you want as a
glass on its own or when serving with seafood, salmon or chicken
Brigando Rosé 2016
Lisbon, Portugal 11.5% abv
For fans of top quality wines offering great value for money,
Portugal is a happy hunting ground. This fresh fruity pink is from
one of the top names in Portuguese wine, José Neiva. In this
mouthwatering pink he uses ripe, juicy Touriga Nacional for its
unmatchable summer fruit character. Perfect for picnics, with cold
meats, chicken, veggie kebabs and so much more.
