Farnese Trebbiano 2016
Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, Italy 12% abv
A light and refreshing dry white with aromas of Fresh lemon,
melon and almond. Nicely balanced, it's fresh and zippy with ripe
citrus and melon fruit flavours.
This Trebbiano displays all this grape's zesty lemon freshness -
enjoy as an apéritif or with seafood or salads.
Villa Broglia Gavi di Gavi 2017
Gavi di Gavi, Italy 13.5% abv
Villa Broglia is one of the major stars of Italy's Gavi region.
This wine is served at State occasions and is even delivered to the
Vatican. It's a racy, dry classic, showing pristine floral and
fresh almond character.
Enjoy with antipasti, fish or chicken.
Collezione di Paolo Chianti 2016
Chianti, Italy 13% abv
Chianti is one of Italy's great classic reds and our favourites
have been those from the outstanding Paolo Masi at his family
estate. His Chianti is a notch above most others thanks
to his sheer dedication to quality. It's spot on for value,
too. This silky wine has mouthwatering red fruit flavours,
almond, and milk chocolate complexity.
Best enjoyed with all sorts of pasta dishes, roasted vegetable
wraps or chicken.
Pillastro Rosato 2016
Puglia, Italy 12.5% abv
Pillastro is one of our best loved Big Reds. It's from the
highly awarded Angelo Maci at Puglia's Cantine Due Palme.
Angelo was asked to create a rosé, using the same characterful
Primitivo grape. It's 100% pure Primitivo, picked early for
freshness and the juice left briefly on skins for that vibrant pink
hue. Carefully vinified, this wine offers a burst of summer berry
fruit, light spice and refreshment. Great solo or with food.
