Here are the 11 wines we'll be opening...
Waitui Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2017
Marlborough, New Zealand 13% abv
With a ravishing range of flavours, the style this year is
marked by lovely fruit ripeness balanced by leafy freshness. In
this wine you'll notice a lifted floral aroma with bright stone
fruit flavours, a hint of guava and a bright mineral quality. It's
made by one of the founding fathers - 30 plus years ago - of the
Marlborough wine fraternity. Chill the wine down and enjoy as a
glass on its own or with salmon or a spicy stir-fry.
Aluado Chardonnay 2015
Estremadura, Portugal 12.5% abv
Using grapes from vineyards close to the coast, Aluado has
lovely ripe peach fruit flavours balanced by a zing of stony
crispness. Just what you want as a glass on its own or when serving
with seafood, salmon or chicken dishes.
Baron de Barbon Blanco 2016
Rioja, Spain 12.5% abv
Citrus scented Barón de Barbón carries the flag for cutting
edge, contemporary white Riojas. It dazzles with its racy fresh,
palate tingling, lime zipped flavours and it's great value too.
A terrific partner for
traditional tapas and seafood paella.
La Voûte 2016
Vin de France 13.5% abv
A rich but zesty Burgundy style wine at an affordable
price. A year's ageing in oak has lent a broad, creamy texture
to the peach and lemon fruit flavours.
Serve in large bowled glasses to let it open out, with chicken,
or fish with a lemony sauce.
Sendero des Santos Albariño 2011
Rias Baixas, Spain 12.5% abv
Albariño is one of Spain's trendiest whites with elegance,
freshness and exotic richness. The best can age too, as this superb
white, with seven years under its belt, amply demonstrates. A rich,
full flavoured white with mineral freshness.
Hacienda da Lluna Moscatel Rosado
Valencia, Spain 5% abv
You can just imagine how the heat of the Spanish summer might
drive a winemaker to create this ultimate thirst quencher. Hacienda
de Lluna Moscatel Rosado is crisp, fresh and gentle with bags of
fruit flavours, a touch of sweetness and a crisp finish.

Combine plummy Merlot with flavour enhancing Spanish sunshine
and the skills of a great young Rioja winemaker and it's no wonder
Finca Libertad is so delicious. This dark, full bodied Merlot
tastes even better if decanted an hour or two prior to serving -
using a jug does the trick. With smooth cherry and spice flavours,
it's the perfect Spanish red to enjoy with chicken dishes, spicy

Stellenrust Heritage Collection Shiraz
Stellenbosch, South Africa 14% abv
Here's a 'must try' wine for Shiraz lovers. Heritage Collection
Shiraz is the Stellenrust estate's rich, flavour packed
interpretation of this Rhône Valley favourite. Using special yeast
imported from the Rhône Valley for fermentation and aged in oak
barrels for a year to gain just enough smoothness and complexity,
this dense red is a cracker with roast lamb or steak pie.
Las Barracas Gran Reserva 2009
Catalunya, Spain 13.5% abv
A venerably old Gran Reserva with toasty spice and silky fruit -
and it's not from Rioja. It's from a top cellar in Pla de Bages
near Barcelona, which combines centuries of tradition with the
latest winemaking technology. This luxurious red was
made by talented winemaker Juan Soler, who added a small portion of
crunchy Cabernet to the Tempranillo grapes for extra richness and
depth. Two years ageing in a mix of French and American oak has
mellowed the wine beautifully. Enjoy with roast lamb or a Spanish
