Domaine du Mas Ensoleillé Rosé 2016
Provence, France 12.5% abv
Provence has long been a mecca for fine rosé - wines with lovely
berry character balanced by a savoury, creamy richness. Domaine
Proux is a new addition to our range, with bright fresh berry and
stony lemon flavours and a creamy underlay.
Whether skies are drab grey or blue, make sure you have a bottle
of this in the fridge.
Hacienda da Lluna Moscatel Rosado
Valencia, Spain 5% abv
You can just imagine how the heat of the Spanish summer might
drive a winemaker to create this ultimate thirst quencher. Hacienda
de Lluna Moscatel Rosado is crisp, fresh and gentle with bags of
fruit flavours, a touch of sweetness and a crisp finish.
La Nantaise Réserve 2016
Muscadet, France 12.5% abv
With piercing crisp lemon fruit and a bracing tang of the sea,
Muscadet is one of France's most distinctive and refreshing whites.
This Réserve cuvée was crafted from the pick of the small but
excellent 2016 vintage and lees-aged for added richness. Chill down
and serve with seafood or light salads.
Bon Courage Colombard 2017
Robertson, South Africa 12.5% abv
If you're looking for a 'stand by' white to keep in your fridge,
you can't go wrong with this. Fresh, lifted and bursting with
citrus character, it's a mouthwatering Sauvignon alternative if
you're looking for something a bit different. An ideal aperitif or
partner to canapés.
Campanula Pinot Grigio 2016
Dunútul, Hungary 12% abv
Wonderfully lemony crisp, Campanula is terrifically refreshing
and top value, too. It's been one of our best sellers for
years. This crisp, minerally Pinot Grigio has classic ripe pear and
green apple character. Enjoy as a glass any time or with lighter
Portinho do Côvo 2016
Setubal, Portugal 13% abv
A thoroughly modern Portuguese white. It has a wonderful
array of crisp flavours thanks to a unique blend of grapes and
meticulous winemaking. Portinho do Côvo is made by multiple award
winning Jaime Quendera using the native Fernão Pires grape and
Muscat. Portinho is ideal with prawns, grilled white
fish or crisp salad.
Redheads Adelais Pinot Shiraz 2017
Barossa Valley, Australia 14% abv
You'd never expect RedHeads to stick to the norm when it comes
to blends. Why not try ripe, berry scented Pinot Noir with dense
blackberry rich Shiraz.
The result is seriously silky, with lovely ripe fruit, excellent
balance, medium weight.
Shot in the Dark 2016
South Eastern Australia 14% abv
When ripened by the Aussie sunshine, cassis laden Cabernet and
rich, spicy Shiraz make the perfect partnership. And Shot in the
Dark, from John Quarisa's family winery in New South Wales, is the
perfect example of this style. With flavours of cracked pepper and
bramble fruits; subtle mocha and fine tannins, this red is tasty on
its own yet versatile with food.
Chante Clair 2017
Vin de France 13% abv
As the retro label suggests, Chante-Clair is as proudly and
authentically French as Asterix, Gauloises and the café accordion -
yet it also embraces the best of modern winemaking. Mid weight and
smooth as silk. Tasty red and black fruit flavours. Spot on with
French bistro fare: confit de canard, cassoulet, or a hearty
Le Mani di Federica 2016
Sicily 13% abv
A rich, spicy and complex wine with a long, smooth textured
finish. Made by dynamic winemaker Federica Lauterio from finest
hand picked Nero d'Avola grapes with a dash of super ripe Syrah.
Soft enough to enjoy on its own or with pizza, pasta or roast
