Then our weekly wine tasting is perfect for you...every Saturday we
select wines from our range for you to discover.
It's a casual tasting, no pressure and not guided so you can try
whilst browsing the shop. If you needed to know more, our
knowledgeable wine staff will be on hand to offer advice.
Samples will be available from 10am to 5pm each Saturday.
Domaine du Mas Ensoleillé Rosé 2016
Provence, France 12.5% abv
Provence has long been a mecca for fine rosé - wines with lovely
berry character balanced by a savoury, creamy richness. Domaine
Proux is a new addition to our range, with bright fresh berry and
stony lemon flavours and a creamy underlay.
Whether skies are drab grey or blue, make sure you have a bottle
of this in the
Long Live the King Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
King Valley, Australia 14% abv
A medium bodied red with the typical Cabernet Sauvignon aromas
of cassis, mint and green pepper. The seamless palate is rich with
sweet dark berries, cherry, plum and just a hint of nutmeg.
Enjoy with aged steak or mature farmhouse Cheddar.
Purple Owl Pinot Noir 2016
California, USA 13.5%
Named after the shaggy purple flowers that carpet much of
central and southern California, like masses of little purple
brushes, Purple Owl is no ordinary Pinot Noir - grapes for this
juicy berry red are sourced from the finest vineyards on
California's Central Coast. A gentle pressing and careful
vinification capture all its layers of vibrant cherry and raspberry
Try with chicken in red wine sauce or your favourite cheeses.
Pinot Noir is tricky to get right so it makes sense to stock up
when you find a good one!
Westend Estate No.1 Chardonnay 2016
Riverina, Australia 13% abv
Every wine from Westend Estate is a winner - a superb balance of
intense fruit, character and freshness. This medium bodied white is
a typical example, made from Chardonnay matured in premium oak,
this top white balances opulent tropical fruit flavours with
buttery notes and supreme freshness.

From the tiny village of Argeliers near Minervois in the French
Languedoc region. An irresistible Chardonnay full of bright stone

a crisp lemony freshness.
Serve Cuvée 1907 chilled with fruits de mer or chicken.
