Corsiero Nero is the perfect wine to enjoy with rich pasta
dishes, game and mature cheeses.
Domaine la Sarabande 2015
Faugères, France 12% abv
From deep in the heart of Languedoc, this organically produced
wine has been a labour of love for winemakers Paul & Isla
Gordon who bought the vineyard in 2009. Made mainly with Grenache,
it has aromas of herbs and spice with blackberry and raspberry
hints. Velvety, supple and rich in ripe bramble fruit flavours,
it's a perfect match for roast meats or a spicy hotpot.
Newton Johnson Chardonnay 2016
Walker Bay, South Africa 13.5% abv
Classy, elegant Chardonnay from a dynamic Cape estate near
Hermanus in Walker Bay. It's a family affair with father, sons and
wives involved. The Newton Johnson family have established
themselves among South Africa's premium producers in just 20 years.
This delicious Chardonnay demonstrates a commitment to quality and
a talent for making stand-out wines of great value and
finesse. Serve lightly chilled with salmon steaks,
lobster, scallops or chicken.
Campanula Pinot Grigio 2017
Dunátúl, Hungary 12.5% abv
This terrific Pinot Grigio comes from an award winning cellar in
the village of Etyek, 50 km from Budapest, and shows just what
fantastic quality and value Hungary offers. Hungary is, of
course, famous for its regal sweet wine, Tokaj, but has many
strings to its bow, thanks in part to a 600 year history of growing
Italian grape varieties. This crisp, minerally Pinot Grigio has
classic ripe pear and green apple character.
Enjoy as a glass any time or with lighter dishes.
