whilst browsing the shop. If you needed to know more, our

The House of Fun Shiraz Malbec 2018
Western Cape, South Africa 14% abv
This luscious combo of spicy Shiraz and blackberry rich Malbec
is full of smooth fruity fun. It's a new release from the Gabb
family's Mount Rozier estate in premium Stellenbosch. A gorgeously
moreish red, with juicy ripe fruit and freshness.
Long Live the King 2017
New South Wales, Australia 14.5% abv
This inky dark, cassis rich red is from talented winemaker Sam
Trimboli. It's a luscious wine, rich with sweet dark berries,
blackcurrant and plum, and a classic hint of mint, plus good grip
and length. For now, let the wine breathe for half an hour before
serving with aged steak or mature farmhouse Cheddar.
Porrais Reserva 2017
Douro, Portugal 13% abv
With its spicy peach and zingy lemon curd flavours, Porrais
Reserva shows that the Douro is about much more than just port
these days, the region's whites offer superb complexity and
richness. Combining Rabigato grapes, for ripe fruit and zippy
edge, with Códega do Larinho, for its aromatics, this delicious
white makes a lovely partner for sauced fish.
Opi Malbec Rosé 2018
Mendoza, Argentina 12.5% abv
Mendoza's high altitude vineyards are ideal for Malbec reds and,
thanks to the long growing season, and great for aromatic, berry
scented rosés too. With crisp redcurrant, citrus and summer
berry fruits and a peppery edge, it's irresistible as a glass solo,
and surprisingly versatile with food.
with pea and pancetta risotto, chicken, poached salmon or lightly
spiced Asian dishes.
