select wines from our range for you to discover.
It's a casual tasting, no pressure and not guided so you can try
whilst browsing the shop. If you needed to know more, our
knowledgeable wine staff will be on hand to offer advice.
Samples will be available from 10am to 5pm each Saturday.

Vesuvium 2018 Simon's
Wine of the Month
Greco di Tufo, Italy 12.5%
From a family cellar in Campania, this white has delightful
honeyed pear and lemon fruit flavours, a wine brimming with
character. The grape, Greco di Tufo, is Greek in origin, but today
is decidedly Italian. With hints of pear, almond and citrus, this
is a white to savour with vegetarian and seafood
Gaillac, France 12%
If you like Muscadet, Vinho Verde or Picpoul de Pinet, you're
going to adore Gaillac Perlé. It's mouthwateringly crisp, bursting
with refreshing citrus, and lifted even further by a delicate,
natural spritz. It's made with Gaillac's native grape, Loin de
l'Oeil, not grown anywhere else, this is an authentic fresh white
and a charming, citrusy aperitif.
Selección 2018 New Wine
Somontano, Spain 13% abv
A refreshing blend of Macabeo and Chardonnay, grown in the
Pyrenean foothills of Northeast Spain. Crisp and vibrant with ripe
apple and citrusy hints, it's deliciously fresh. Enjoy solo or with
MC1R:Blonde New Wine
Adelaide Hill, Australia 13%
Showcasing Chardonnay, Viognier and Roussanne from top growers
in the Adelaide Hills, this is RedHeads' new MC1R Blonde. A smooth
creamy wine with lingering spice and delicious apricot and peach
flavours and a citrus finish.
Hacienda de Lluna
Moscatel Rosado 2018
Valencia, Spain 12%
You can just imagine how the heat of the Spanish summer might
drive a winemaker to create this ultimate thirst quencher. Hacienda
de Lluna Moscatel Rosado is crisp, fresh and pretty, with the
sweetness of a ripe grape. Sparkling and only 5% ABV, too.
Baronesa de Vilar
Reserva 2016New Wine
Douro, Portugal 14%
Gorgeous, rich Portuguese red from 15th generation winemaker
Alvaro van Zeller. His family have been crafting fine ports since
1715 and now sumptuous dry reds, too. Using a trio of Douro grapes,
aged in old port barrels, it's brimful of spicy fruit. Decant
and enjoy with slow-cooked lamb.
Lamour 2017New Wine
Costières de Nîmes, France 14.5%
A glorious, rich, southern Rhône classic. It's from Château
Lamour, owned by Vianney Castan, whose winemaking roots go back 200
years. It's rich with lasting fruit, wild herb notes and silky
tannins. This red is best decanted early. Serve with grilled red
meats or a casserole.
Rosario 2017New Wine
Bullas, Spain 15%
Crafted from the hand-picked grapes of ancient bush vines around
the remote town of Bullas, this is a weighty, rich red with layers
of rich black cherry, ripe raspberries and spicy notes. This this
gently oaked red is a treat with lamb or hearty casseroles.
Capitole New Wine
Comté Tolosan, France 13%
From a modern cellar close to Gaillac and Toulouse comes this
serious, fruit-filled Cabernet. It has just the right balance of
ripe black fruit and firm tannins to produce a wine with the juicy
crunch to partner food. Gently oaked, it's a great match to
Alentejano, Portugal 14%
Portugal boasts a superb range of unique, amazing quality wines
which are great value, too. This rich, powerful red is from Casa
Santos Lima, a grand, family run property located near Lisbon. With
intense blackberry and damson fruit and toasty oak, it makes a
tasty glass with roast beef, duck or vegetarian
The Black Stump
South Eastern Australia 12.5%
Rich and smooth as silk. Long, super-ripe black fruit finish The
wine is smooth with concentrated spicy black fruit flavours and a
touch of mocha. Serve in large glasses and enjoy with
