Then our weekly wine tasting is perfect for you...every Saturday we
select wines from our range for you to discover.
It's a casual tasting, no pressure and not guided so you can try
whilst browsing the shop. If you needed to know more, our
knowledgeable wine staff will be on hand to offer advice.
Samples will be available from 10am to 5pm each Saturday.
Alambrado Malbec Tempranillo 2017 (Simon's Wine of the
Mendoza, Argentina 14% abv

Rich & fruity, Alambrado is from Familia Zuccardi, one of
the finest cellars in all Argentina. The grapes are grown
organically, and the resulting wine is suitable for Vegans. It's
mouth filling with juicy fruit flavours, hints of spice and a long
finish. A great partner to roast lamb, peppered steak or a hearty
Rocksand Shiraz 2018
Vinho Regional de Lisboa, Portugal 14.5%
A big, bold Shiraz, perfect for lovers of velvety, spicy reds.
Made by award winning winemaker, Jaime Quendera, it's been aged in
oak barrels to add a gorgeous, spicy, vanilla lift to the
blueberry, blackberry and peppery fruit. A treat to serve with
spicy chorizo sausages, a hearty stew or the Sunday roast.
Sentiero dei Pini Pinot Grigio 2017
Venezie, Italy 12% abv
Pinot Grigio is one of the most popular whites in the western
world, loved for its refreshing, delicate flavours. Inland from
Venice is home to some of the best quality examples in Italy.
This thirst quenching wine displays crisp, pure, lemon and
grapefruit flavours, a touch of ripe, white stone fruit and a
sophisticated, minerally edge. It's a 'drink anytime' wine but
perhaps best enjoyed as an aperitivo, with seafood, grilled fish or
La Nantaise Muscadet Réserve 2017
Muscadet, France 11.5% abv
With piercing crisp lemon fruit and a bracing tang of the sea,
Muscadet is one of France's most distinctive and refreshing whites.
This Réserve cuvée was crafted from the pick of a truly exceptional
vintage and lees-aged for added richness. A lovely drop of wine on
its own, it's also a textbook match for seafood and shellfish.
