The Gooseberry Bush 2019
Robertson, South Africa 11% abv
Bon Courage is one of Robertson's most highly acclaimed wineries
and Gooseberry Bush has a hugely loyal following. It's easy to see
why it has been a customer favourite for years now.
It's very refreshing with exuberant aromas of kiwi fruit, cut
grass and gooseberries which are typical of the Colombard and
Sauvignon Blanc grapes used in this wine.
Great with seafood, crisp salads, pasta and veggie based
Viňa Tarapacá Sauvignon Blanc 2019
Central Valley, Chile 12.5% abv
Founded in 1874, Viňa Tarapacá is one of Chile's most historic
vineyards. They are rightly proud of their Bio diversity and
ecological credentials, going as far as having their on mini hydro
electric turbine to produce electricity for the winery. The wine is
crafted by top winemaker Sebastián Ruiz Flaño. Powerfully aromatic
with rich citrus intensity, it's a most refreshing apéritif and
suits spicy fish dishes and Far Eastern cuisine.
Heredad Chavarri Albariňo 2018
Rías Baixas, Spain 13.5% abv
An elegant, fresh white wine made by 5th generation wine maker
Ruth Chavarri. It's from Rías Baixas in the North West of Spain
where cool damp conditions make it a perfect place to grow Albariňo
The delicate peach and nectarine flavours are balanced by great
mineral freshness. Vibrant and fruity, it's great with grilled
seafood, sushi, tapas and dips, or simply on its own.
Cabalié Blanc 2018
Vin de France 12% abv
A classic Southern French blend. The magical grape mix is
Viognier for honeysuckle aroma and soft texture, Muscat for
dazzlingly aromatic grapey notes, and Colombard to keep it all
crisp and zesty. Bursting with tropical fruit, Cabalié is perfect
with fresh seafood or grilled chicken.
Il Papavero Pinot Grigio 2018
Terre Siciliane, Italy 12% abv
Pinot Grigio has staged something of a coup in fridge doors and
dining tables the world over. Truly outstanding examples like this
are rare, however. Il Papavero is a moreish mix of rich pear and
citrus flavours and has both ripeness and bracing freshness thanks
to the location of the vines. Sunshine and sea breezes are the
perfect grape growing conditions for which Sicily has become
famous. A delight with white meats or seafood risotto.
Alambrado Malbec Tempranillo (Simon's Wine of the
Mendoza, Argentina 14% abv

Rich & fruity, Alambrado is from Familia Zuccardi, one of
the finest cellars in all Argentina. The grapes are grown
organically and the resulting wine is suitable for Vegans. It's
mouth filling with juicy fruit flavours, hints of spice and a long
finish. A great partner to roast lamb, peppered steak or a hearty
Aluado Alicante Bouschet 2018
Vinho Regional Lisboa, Portugal 13% abv
Dark almost bright black colour, this is a dense and firm wine.
It has rich plum and berry flavours that are dark as well as juicy.
Powerful, deep full body and structured, but smooth and velvety.
Aluado 2018 is great on its own or served with roast meats (try
lamb or pork) or a herby casserole.
Martinez Bujanda Crianza 2016
Rioja, Spain, 13.5% abv
Made purely from estate grown fruit and matured in their fine
cellars, this beautifully balanced Crianza is from one of the most
highly rated bodegas of Rioja. Silky with bright cherry and damson
flavours complemented by notes of cedar and spice.
This supple wine can be enjoyed on
its own or with roast game, charcuterie or tapas.
Prestige du Capitole 2018
Comté Tolosan, France 13% abv
Comté Tolosan is an ancient wine producing region within South
West France. This is a tasty Cabernet with lovely depth and fruit
power made by American winemaker Nicola McPheeter. It's from a
modern cellar close to Gaillac and Toulouse and is a serious,
fruit-filled red. It has just the right balance of ripe black fruit
and firm tannins to produce a wine with the juicy crunch to partner

The House of Fun 2018
Western Cape, South Africa 14% abv
A voluptuous red blend from the Mount Rozier estate in Somerset
West overlooking Cape Town's False Bay. This is a fruit-rich red
combining spicy Shiraz and silky Malbec, grapes we normally
associate with Australia and Argentina. House of Fun shows just how
delicious they are grown in Cape sunshine. Smooth and fruity, this
wine is a great all rounder and goes well with grilled meats, stews
and ripe cheeses.
