Maiden Brew for the New Mash Tun

2 years of planning and hard work came together on the
31st August when we successfully brewed the first
50 barrel (14,400 pint) brew using our brand new Mash Tun. We've
been installing and using new equipment over the last 2 years, but
the new mash tun was the last piece of the puzzle and it meant we
could test the new brewhouse to its full potential.
We had been running at maximum capacity, which meant the
pressure on the brewery was very high, but with the increased brew
size we've now got more flexibility, which amongst other benefits
gives us a chance to look at increasing the beer range.
There is more work to do, but getting the brewery to the larger
capacity was the priority and is a big milestone for Rebellion.
