Here's a little summary of all you need to know about Christmas
at Rebellion.
Beer
The beer range for Christmas week this year is IPA, Peacemaker, Gold and Roasted Nuts.

Peacemaker is our December monthly beer. 4.2%, Pale & Citrus
full tasting note - click here.
Gold is the winter seasonal. Strength: 4.4%, Golden and Hoppy.

In 500ml bottles Roasted Nuts Extra
is back in stock. Strong (5.8%), dark and malty, it is a perfect
beer for Christmas. This is alongside Red and Blonde, our core
bottled ales.
We also have our Lager in 330ml bottles, available
to buy in cases or individually in our shop. Our authentic German
style lager offers a crisp, clean and refreshing character, a great
alternative to the heavier winter beers.

Winter Royal
(Updated 13-12-12)
We are brewing Winter Royal again
this year and due to its popularity, we are brewing twice the
amount.
It will be available from pubs, bars etc. and in our brewery
shop from the 1st of December.
In the shop we have more stock than ever before, and we think it
will last for a few weeks, predicting it running out at the end of
the week commencing 17th December,22/23rd. For exact timings it'll
be worth keeping an eye on our website and social channels at the
end of November.
The limited-edition beer will be available in fresh draught
sizes; 1,3 litre bottles, 5 litre tins and 22 pint mini
barrels.
For the first time in the Rebellion shop we will also be selling
Winter Royal in 500ml bottles as part of mixed cases and gift
sets.
Please like / follow our social channels to have the best chance
of getting up to date info.
If you'd like to have a pint in a pub, you will be able to track
which pubs and bars are stocking Winter Royal from our beer finder. We will also try and keep an
up to date list on the beer's page. Please bear
in mind the information we share only shows where we have delivered
to, not who is currently serving it, so please contact them to
check they are serving it before making a special trip.
Traditional Fuggles and Goldings hop varieties add to the
authenticity of this classic English beer. The result is a deep,
ruby winter warmer at 5.4%, with a rich maltiness, soft bitterness
and a fantastic late and dry hop aroma.
Why not more? Tankage capacity/usage is at such a critical point
during the last week of Christmas that we just can't run with more
than 4 different ales in order to maintain quality. We will
therefore release Winter Royal earlier in December.
If you're new to the brewery and don't know why we're excited
about Winter Royal, here's what you've missed...
Before Rebellion even existed as a brewery, Winter Royal was
brewed by the Wethereds Brewery in Marlow, becoming one of their
flagship beers until the brewery closed in 1988. In December 2016
we got hold of the recipe and brewed a batch, reviving this famous
beer after a 28 year hiatus.

Free Beer Sampling - Please respect our 2 pint rule
From the tasting bar in our brewery shop you can pour yourself
up to 2 pints or 4 halves of beer to sample for free, giving you
the opportunity to try it before you buy it. We hope you'll enjoy
your samples and maybe browse the other products in our shop.
Please enjoy our samples sensibly and if you can please respect
our two-pint rule, we would really appreciate it. Thanks.
Shelf Life & Pre Orders
Our draught beer is a fresh product and just like other fresh
products like bread or milk it is best used as fresh as
possible.
The draught beer has a shelf life of 7 days unopened and is best
drunk within 2 days after opening, but fresh is best. This excludes
the 22 pint mini barrel which will keep draught beer fresh for 3
weeks, even after opening.
For Christmas draught beer (excluding mini barrels) we'd
recommend buying no earlier than 18th December.
Our bottled beers (500/330ml) have a longer shelf life and are
best drunk within 6 months, though beer will always be best as
fresh as possible.
There's no need to pre-order beer for Christmas as we try our
very hardest to have our Christmas beers in stock throughout the
period. If you feel you would really like to, please call the shop
and we'll be happy to take your order.
Collections & Carry to Car
In the week leading up to Christmas you'll pick up your larger
sizes of beer from the collections area outside of the front of the
shop. First purchase your polycask or mini barrel inside as usual
and then go outside to collect the barrel where our staff will give
you a demo and then offer to carry it to your car.
Guest Tastings
Look out for guest tastings from some of our suppliers which
will be taking place throughout December. You can find the list of
dates here -

for online purchase for delivery before Christmas is Tuesday
18th December at 12pm. We will continue to ship after

that date before Christmas.

Opening Hours & Car Parking
Getting closer to Christmas, our shop gets very busy. To avoid
the crowds, we'd recommended coming early. We open at 8am.
Possible very busy periods could be 22nd
23rd 1-4pm and 24th 1-3pm.
Our car park gets full at peak time. If you are coming during
the busy period for a beer sample, you could really help us out and
try to limit the number of cars you are using.
