New 3 1/3 Litre Bottle
06 July 2020
You may have noticed that we have recently changed our 3 litre
containers to a more robust brown coloured circular bottle.
The change is primarily for quality reasons. They don't bulge as
much and they also shield the beer from ultraviolet light better
than the clear ones.
You may have also noticed that they appear to be slightly
underfilled. The reason for this is that the new container actually
has the capacity to hold 3.4 litres of beer and we historically
fill to 3 litres.
In order to improve quality further we will be changing our fill
height with immediate effect and from now on filling them to 3.35
To co-incide with the volume increase we will be increasing the
price accordingly, ensuring that the price per litre stays the
same. You just now receive 3 1/3rd litres as opposed to 3
The increase will be as follows:
IPA £1.34 per pack
Beers 4.1%- 4.4% (Incl. Monthly, Smuggler) £1.41 per pack
Beers 4.5% & above (Zebedee, Roasted Nuts) £1.48 per
