New Beer at The Tap Yard!
In an exciting advance for Rebellion, the first of our small
batch "Development Brewery" beers is now available to enjoy
exclusively at The Tap Yard.
DB1(Development Brewery 1) is a 4.5% Citra Session Pale Ale.
Hazy, easy drinking with fresh, citrus aromas such as grapefruit,
peach, melon, lime and a smooth bitter, fruity finish.
We're only producing 500 litres so it may not be around too
long. DB1 is only available from The Tap Yard in pints, halves and
thirds.
What is the Development Brewery?
These developmental brews are the brewers having freedom to have
fun and flex their brewing muscles, giving them the opportunity to
brew small batches of beers outside of our usual flavours and
styles.
To brew the DB range, we're using the recently commissioned test
brew kit which can produce 500 litres at a time, tiny when
comparing it to the 8800 litres of our 50 brewers' barrel main
kit.
There are some exciting ideas for future beers on the table such
as fruity sours, IPAs and imperial porters, so keep an eye out for
when the next project brew beer is released.
The beers are exclusively available from the Tap Yard, though we
may be able to package some of the future brews for sale through
our shop. We'd encourage everyone visiting the brewery to give them
a go, if for no other reason than to expand your beer tasting
experience.
