Price Increase Aug 1
25 July 2023
We are sorry to inform you of a small retail price increase that
will be applied to all Rebellion beer products sold through our
shop, drive-through, and online, starting from 1st August.
The price rise is a result of duty increases made by HMRC, you may
have heard in the news about the Government's review of the entire
duty system. The news reports may have also mentioned a duty freeze
or reduction for beer, however, this freeze only applies to draught
products sold in pubs from containers of over 20 litres. As the
products sold through our shop, drive-through and online are all
for home consumption, they are all subject to the duty
increase.
Our retail price increase will be around the 2.5%.
+ All small pack beer, including 1, 3.3, 5 litre containers, and
22-pint mini barrels, will see an increase of 10p per litre (which
is still under 6 pence per pint).
+ For 500 ml bottles, there will be an increase of 5-6 pence
each, depending on the strength.
+ However, the price of 330 ml bottles will remain
unchanged.
+ Mixed cases and our gift packs will also experience an
increase.
We would like to express our sincere apologies that this
government-led price increase comes at a financially challenging
time.
We truly appreciate your continued support, and we remain
committed to providing you with the highest quality beer and
service.
Warm regards,
Team Rebellion
