Wine Tasting: Our free weekly wine tasting runs every Saturday
from 11-5 in the brewery shop.
We have a large wine selection in our brewery shop so to help
introduce you to as many of the wines as possible we open a few
carefully chosen bottles of wine for you to explore.
This week is a bumper session with 10 different wines to try! (3
white, 3 rosé and 4 red)
W/O Organic Lucido
2022, Sicily 11% abv £13.99
Presenting w/o - winemaker
Dino Taschetta's
ambitious project. A
wine made without (w/o) compromise. A delicious bright, peachy
white, mindfully made. Packaged in 100% recycled glass,
it's aromatic with ripe stone
fruits, pear and herbal
notes.Chill
and sip with seafood and lighter dishes.
Cabalie Blanc2023, Vin de France
11% abv £12.99
A rich, rounded, yet crisp
southern French white.The magical grape mix is
old-vine Viognier for intense honeysuckle aroma and soft texture,
Muscat for grapey notes, and Colombard
to keep it all
zesty.
Bursting with
tropical fruit, Cabalié
is perfect solo or
with seafood or chicken.
Amoras Blanco 2021, Lisbon, Portugal 12.5% abv £11.99
Amoras comprises Fernão
Pires for its exotic spice, Arinto
for crisp citrus
character, Sauvignon Blanc for grassy freshness, and Moscatel
for its
appealing grapiness. We have often
recommended this wine to Pinot Grigio lovers wanting to branch
out.
It's the perfect apéritif and
partner for seafood, salads and sushi.
Cabalie Rose2023, Vin de France 11% abv £11.99
A crisp, zesty pink made
with old-vine
Grenache and Syrah to ensure lovely depth of spicy berry fruit,
then harvested early to gain zippy freshness. It's an aromatic pink with
vibrant strawberry and grenadine flavours and a hint of pepper.
Serve chilled on its own, with prawns, pan-seared salmon or a
chicken and seafood paella

A delicious berry,
cherry-blossom and citrus-filled Sicilian
pink.
Fruity, light and crisp, with hints of
raspberry, grapefruit and peach. Try chilled solo, or
with frilled
seafood.
Amoras Rosado 2020, Lisbon,
Portugal 11% abv £11.99
Rosé is a speciality
of
Portugal and
it shows clearly in the ripe berry fruit and refreshing zip of this
tasty family-estate pink. Cabernet plus Portugal's prized Castelão
and Camarate
combine to make this
unique and deliciously vibrant rosado. It's a tasty drop on its own and
ideal with seafood, salads, at a barbecue or with Asian
cuisine.
LaCantera Reserva 2018 (Simon's Wine of the

A long time customer
favourite, La Cantera is the go-to wine for any fan of smooth,
perfectly aged Spanish reds. It gains Reserva status from patient
ageing in barrel and bottle, which adds delicious toasty oak notes
to its mature ripe red fruits. The wine is made from old-vine
Garnacha and Tempranillo and has rich, deep red berry flavours
softened by years in barrel and bottle.

Made with Frappato, grown organically
thanks to Sicily's warm, dry climate. It'sdelicious red berry and
cherry fruit that greets you on the aroma and continues through on
the bright, juicy palate. Try chilled solo, or with pizza or pesto
pasta.
Cabalié Rouge 2023, Vin de France

A mouthfilling, richly spiced red, smooth
with very ripe, plum, prunes and spice flavours. From deep in southern
France, Cabalié needs no ceremony. Just
large glasses for serving! A Grenache-charged, old-vine gem,
brimful of spicy berry
fruit.This
legendary wine is in its element with a beef
casserole.
Amoras de Portugal 2022 Lisbon, Portugal

Amoras brings together four
cracking local grape varieties: leafy raspberry Castelão, juicy
cherry-rich Camarate, cassis-laden Touriga Nacional and plummy
Alicante Bouschet.Bright cherry, redcurrant and plum flavours, fresh
with spicy mocha notes. Tasty on its own, it's good too with a pork and
bean casserole, moussaka or pasta with
pesto.
