The Jolly Farmer in Cookham Dean offers visitors a really
friendly, relaxed pub experience. The pub dates back to 1788, to
put that in context, when William Pitt the Younger was Prime
minister and Mozart was still making music! So it definitely has
lots of character.
On the bar is a range of our beers including our new lager.
Food is all handmade and the menu offers a good range of pub
food. The Joly Farmer serves hand made stone baked pizzas made in a
hand made wood fire pizza oven... I was lucky enough to sample one
and it was thin, crispy and delicious.
With a big garden, great kids play area and terraced seating The
Jolly Farmer would be good choice for a family lunch. If the
weather turns or during the colder months it would turn into a cosy
and welcoming place to relax.
