On a pretty chilly and gloomy day, we popped into the
Polecat to get some photos and info for this little write up.
Walking in was a lovely escape from outside. The fire was lit, the
bar was cosy and I felt warm.
Offering food, a fully stocked bar, our lager and beers as
well as other local brews this is a nice place to come and enjoy a
drink or food. This is from their website...
"The Polecat Inn is a charming 17th Century Free house
& Restaurant nestled in the picturesque Chiltern Hills village
in Prestwood, in Buckinghamshire. With hearty open fires and an
offering of fine wines, traditional ales and locally sourced,
market fresh food, we hope to make your acquaintance soon". I think
it pretty much sums it up.
The garden has loads of tables and there is a really good
kids play area. In the drizzle I could imagine the sun out, sitting
with a beer and Sunday roast whilst the family enjoyed the climbing
Perfect cycle stop.
