Our Mission
At Rebellion Brewery, we brew exceptional beer rooted in Marlow’s local heritage and made with honesty, quality, and passion. We blend traditional brewing methods with a modern focus on flavour, freshness, and service, creating beer that brings people together in pubs, homes, and at our brewery events.
As an independent brewery, we control every step of the process to deliver beer that is fresh, consistent, and unmistakably Rebellion.

Sustainability
Sustainability at Rebellion is about running the brewery responsibly and efficiently. From water and energy use to packaging and sourcing, we focus on practical steps that reduce waste and improve how we operate.
- Borehole brewing water – Our 50m borehole supplies 100% of our brewing water, saving around 10 million litres of mains water each year.
- Reusable packaging – 1-litre bottle deposit scheme and returnable 22-pint mini casks reduce single-use waste.
- Kegs & casks – Collected, cleaned and reused for years.
- Spent grain reuse – All used malt goes to a local farmer for animal feed.
- Used hops for gardens – Locals pick up bags of spent hops for their gardens.
- Local sourcing – UK-grown barley and local suppliers wherever possible.
- Energy efficiency – Heat exchange in the brewhouse and ongoing investment in more efficient systems.
- Exploring CO₂ recovery – Working towards capturing and reusing fermentation CO₂.
